About Us
In November of 2005, the Lord led Pastor Shawn Calderon to start Calvary Chapel Zion.
Our vision was to follow the example of Pastor Bryan Newberry of Calvary Chapel San Diego - to faithfully teach the Word of God, knowing that “healthy sheep beget healthy sheep.”
Today, we are continuing to build the Body of Christ through the teaching of His Word.
“And Jesus came and spoke to them saying,
‘ All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of this age.’ Amen.”
